Why does lipase not break down lipid at 95 degrees

Biology

Lipase enzyme works at optimum temperature of 37 degrees and above the 40 degrees enzymes gets denatured and deactivated that is why it does not break down lipid at 95 degrees.

Explanation:

Lipase is the enzymes that break down lipid molecules in to smaller monomers.

Temperature change affects the enzyme activity.

When there is a temperature increase the kinetic energy and velocity also increases due to high movement of molecules. This increase energy causes many molecules reaching activation energy and the rate of reaction increases.

Enzymes in living bodies as human works on the basis of body temperature.

Although increase in temperature causes increase rate of reaction but at much higher temperature the protein in enzymes gets denatured or start breaking down thus making enzymes deactivated.

This deactivation causes cease or no activity in lipase as it breaks down at a temperature of 95 degrees.

The glomerulus differs from other capillaries in the body in that it ________.
zhuklara [117]

Answer:

The correct answer is "is drained by an efferent arteriole".

Explanation:

The missing options of this question are:

A) has a basement membrane

B) is impermeable to most substances

C) is drained by an efferent arteriole

D) has a blood pressure much lower than other organ systems

The correct answer is option C) "is drained by an efferent arteriole".

The glomerulus are a network of small blood vessels that are specialized to function within the kidneys. The role of the glomerulus is to filter plasma and being one of the steps of water absorption in the kidneys. The glomerulus differs from other capillaries in the body in that it is drained by an efferent arteriole, which carry the blood that has already filtered by the glomerulus.

Which statement describes what happens during the germination of a pollen grain
Crazy boy [7]

During germination of pollen grains, the pollen grains produce a tube that grows down towards the ovary.

Germination we can term it as the process by which an organism grows from a seed or a similar structure pollen grains are reproductive structures which are also known as pollen tubes that produce male gametophytes. The first step is germination is an emergence of radicle which helps in supply of water to the growing embryo. During germination of pollen grains, it produces a tube that grows down towards the ovary. The growth of a plant which founds with a seed is called germination and it results in the formation of the grain. The companionship of male and female reproductive cells is where the seed of the vascular plant produces. Developed seeds contain an embryo and, where plant species store of food reserves, and wrapped in a seed coat. Different numbers of seeds lack nuclei which are produced by some plants, and they are called dry seeds and they never germinate. Ripe seeds that do not grow are called dormant seeds, and they are subject to external environmental conditions of metabolic processes and cell growth are prevented. Embryonic tissues resume growth, and seed begins to germinate developing towards seedling when given proper conditions.

The cholesterol forms weak attractive forces with multiple phospholipids in the bilayer. would this increase or decrease flexibi
jasenka [17]
Flexibility decreases of the membrabe because even though they are forming with weak forces when they are added together they are still strong if cholesterol forms a weak attractive force with multiple phospholipids in the bilayer. In relation to membrane function, homeostasis membrane which contains water oxygen carbon dioxide concentration. the middle part sections of embedded protein chains have amino acids with hydrophobic r groups. The organic functional groups in a phospholipid molecule are amine phosphate methyl carbonyl. The phospholipid molecules main to the compartmentalization of a cell by the polar part of the phospholipid that becomes inside the cell and distributes it up.
