Las alumnas no tienen____libros
Tanya [424]
Las alumnas no tienen los libros

You would put LOS instead of LAS because "books" is in the masculine form! The English language doesn't really have masculine forms of "the" but, it is a very important detail in Spanish classes, and if you don't pay attention your teacher can mark you off points!

One thing that helped me out in Spanish was spanishchecker.com

Hope this helps!
