This is because Juliet is constantly being forced to spend time with others. Also he is trying to protect Juliet's reputation becuase he doesn't want people to judge Julet for missing Tybalt after he died.
2. When Juliet goes to visit the Friar she holds a knife in her hands and threatens to kill herself if she is forced to wed Paris.
3. Juliet was to say that she was going to marry Paris then the night before the wedding drink the sleeping potion. Once Juliet is put into tombs with the rest of the feelow dead people becuase everyone truly does belive she is dead the friar will tell Romeo to come back.
4. The friar is going to inform Romeo of this plan by sending friar John to Mantua where Romeo had been banished to tell him. Unfortunately, this did not work out.
5. Another possible solution of escaping marriage to Paris and being with Romeo at this point was for Juliet to go to Mantua herself. If this had happened, they might have been able to reunite and elope. Therefore, giving them a happily ever after.
