As you might be known that the opposite sides of a rectangle are equal.

so,

the perimeter of a rectangle becomes
length + breadth + length + breadth
2 length + 2 breadth
2 (length + breadth)

apply the terms,

2 (3x +5 + 3x^2+ 6x -10)
= 2 ( 3x^2 +9x -5)
= 6x^2 + 18x -10 units.

1)
A = (3x^2 + 6x -10)(3x+5)
A = 9x^3 + 15x^2 + 18x^2 + 30x - 30x - 50
A = 9x^3 + 33x^2 - 50

P = 2((3x^2 + 6x -10 + 3x+5)
P = 2(3x^2 + 9x - 5)
P = 6x^2 + 18x - 10

answer
Area = 9x^3 + 33x^2 - 50
Perimeter = 6x^2 + 18x - 10

Write a positive or negative integer that represents the situation.
Harrizon [31]

Answer:

-42

Step-by-step explanation:

If you withdraw an amount, it means that you are taking it out. On the other hand, if you were to deposit an amount, you are putting money in. Taking something out means that you have less of it, so -42 would be the answer. If you were to deposit an amount, the answer would be +42 since you are adding it in.

Which statement describes the behavior of the function f(x)=3x/4-x?
Oksana_A [137]

Answer:

The  graph approaches –3 as x approaches infinity. Option a is correct.

Step-by-step explanation:

The given function is

f(x)=\frac{3x}{4-x}

We have to find value of function as x approaches infinity. Take limit both sides as x approaches to infinity.

\lim_{x\rightarrow \infty}f(x)=\lim_{x\rightarrow \infty}\frac{3x}{4-x}

Taking x common from the denominator.

\lim_{x\rightarrow \infty}f(x)=\lim_{x\rightarrow \infty}\frac{3x}{x(\frac{4}{x}-1)}

Cancel out common factor x.

\lim_{x\rightarrow \infty}f(x)=\lim_{x\rightarrow \infty}\frac{3}{\frac{4}{x}-1}

Apply limits.

\lim_{x\rightarrow \infty}f(x)=\frac{3}{\frac{4}{\infty}-1}

\lim_{x\rightarrow \infty}f(x)=\frac{3}{0-1}

\lim_{x\rightarrow \infty}f(x)=-3

Therefore the  graph approaches –3 as x approaches infinity.

Which statement is true about the ray passing through points B and C?
Oliga [24]
A. The definition of a ray states that it extends infinitely in one direction. (A line extends infinitely in both directions, and a line segment has two finite end points.) Anything that extends infinitely has an infinite number of points.
