Under the communist party, organized religion in the Soviet Union was officially
swat32

Question: Under the communist party, organized religion in the Soviet Union was officially:

Options:

 • 1) Tolerated
 • 2) Encouraged
 • 3) Subsidized
 • 4) Banned

Answer: The correct answer is: 4) Banned.

Explanation: The Soviet Union was the first state to have as an objective the abolisment of religion. The Communist regime ridiculed religion, harassed believers, confiscated church property, and propagated atheism in the schools. The Soviets had originally believed that if churches were deprived of its power, religion would be quickly eliminated. When this did not happen, they took more drastic measures. In Stalin’s purges (1936-1937) tens of thousands of clergy were grouped and shot. In some areas, it even became illegal for parents to teach religion to their own children. From 1917 to the 1980s, the more religion sustained, the more the Soviets would do to eliminate it.

Jacksonian Party nomination

Andrew Jackson hated the National Bank for a variety of reasons. Proud of being a self-made "common" man, he argued that the bank favored the wealthy. As a westerner, he feared the expansion of eastern business interests and the draining of specie from the west, so he portrayed the bank as a "hydra-headed" monster.

describe agricultural innovation in california and explain how this represented the wave of future on farming
bulgar [2K]

The innovation in California is based on the systematic application of precision agriculture through an irrigation program that uses remote sensors, satellite images, updated forecasts, guided and coordinated by artificial intelligence. The result of this innovation has been to reduce water consumption by 16% per unit of product. In this way, there is greater efficiency in the use of imputs, which means more sustainability and profitability. For the moment, it is being used in wine production but the next transformation will be to deploy precision agriculture in all levels of agri-food activity.

The French and Indian War led to discontent in the colonies in all of the following
konstantin123 [22]

Answer: B

Explanation: The French and Indian war was mainly fighting for the land that the English were trying to take from the Native Americans (Indians). The Proclamation of 1763 was to divide the land so that both (now) neighboring ethnicity's could live in peace. The Salutary Neglect was a consequence of said Seven-Years War (French and Indian War). Because the war cause Britain to fall into a deep debt, they had to scrounge for the money to pay back the people that helped them. So, that's what led to the taxing, then eventually taxation without representation, then the Revolutionary War, where the colonies fought to break apart from their Mother Country (England/Britain).
