How were various groups of individuals impacted by Westward expansion? How did the government and
poizon [28]

Answer: All these factors caused the expansion of Western society and new geographical discoveries.

Explanation:

It is like a man to search for the unknown and seek answers. After the Renaissance, the world became a freer place. Individuals like Christopher Columbus or Vasco de Gama were prominent individuals in the societies in which they lived. They expressed a desire to discover new sea routes and embark on a "journey to the unknown". For this purpose, they used new technological achievements such as the compass and advances in science, specifically cartography. In these efforts, the states or kingdoms saw an opportunity for profit and colonization, so they decided to finance these expeditions.

How is Goode's Interrupted Equal-Area
projection different from the Mercator
projection?
Lorico [155]

Goode is an interrupted, equal-area composite projection composed of 12 regions that form six lobes, each the top section of a Mollified projection, carefully grafted on to six interior regions along the equator. The Mercator is the most famous example of a cylindrical projection.

The Goode homologize projection (or interrupted Goode's homologize projection) is a world map projection that is pseudo- cylindrical, equal-area, and composite. Normally, it is interrupted multiple times. Because of its equal-area property, it is useful for presenting the spatial distribution of phenomena.

makvit [3.9K]

Answer:

Explanati1. International: struggle for hegemony and Empire outstrips the fiscal resources of the state

2. Political conflict: conflict between the Monarchy and the nobility over the “reform” of the tax system led to paralysis and bankruptcy.

3. The Enlightenment: impulse for reform intensifies political conflicts; reinforces traditional aristocratic constitutionalism, one variant of which was laid out in Montequieu’s Spirit of the Laws; introduces new notions of good government, the most radical being popular sovereignty, as in Rousseau’s Social Contract [1762]; the attack on the regime and privileged class by the Literary Underground of “Grub Street;” the broadening influence of public opinion.

4. Social antagonisms between two rising groups: the aristocracy and the bourgeoisie

5. Ineffective ruler: Louis XVI

6. Economic hardship, especially the agrarian crisis of 1788-89 generates popular discontent and disorders caused by food shortages.
