Tax without representation, the boston tea party accord because england was taxing them on tea and they could only get tea from one provider. I’m sorry i think this is right i’m not sure tho.

The colonists showed that they wanted more representation by full out defying the kings unfair laws and showing that they would stand up for themselves. The government was taxing them way to much and the only way to get tea was to take from Britain. So, when the kind made the new tax, the colonists showed that they would not follow his unfair orders unless they got more of a say in government affairs.
