<h2>\large{\underbrace{\underline{\fcolorbox{White}{aqua}{\bf{ANSWER♥︎}}}}}</h2>

Most earthquakes occur in the belt of young-fold Mountains because young fold mountains are formed because of tectonic activities. In the case of Oceanic-continental convergence, subducting oceanic plate grinds against the surrounding denser medium producing mostly deep-seated earthquakes.

Why do masses of partially melted rock or magma rise or intrude the surrounding rocks?
valentinak56 [21]

Answer:

Explained

Explanation:

The melted magma or partially melted rock rise or intrude the surrounding rocks because of the buoyancy. The partially melted rocks or magma due their high temperature become less dense than the surrounding rocks and rise up. And then these heated rock or magma react with surrounding rocks which in turn increases the pressure in the magma chamber. This intermixing of magma with surrounding rocks forms another type of rocks called igneous rocks.

What is going on with the natural world around you?
Kamila [148]

Answer:

Explanation:

Last year we had the most handsome of ducks -- a mallard. He was with us until the end of June at which time the water on our property dried up. I have a feeling his mate got tired of sitting on the nest all the time and demanded he help.  They built their nest in a thicket that was impossible to get near. We knew about where it was, but it did us no good.

We did get to see the young ones once or twice. It is amazing how quickly they grow. By the end of September, they were all ready to go south -- even the young ones.

This year is very dry -- there's no water for them. So we have not seen the mallards or ducks of any kind and no geese either. We all miss them.
