This problem is already a bit more simple since they give you the amount of fabric per sock. Now, to solve, you will want to divide 9 3/4 by 5/6. However, if you don't have a calculator, it's rather inconvenient to solve with a fraction, so convert the fraction to a decimal, which should leave you as 9.75 divided by .83333333. Your final answer should be somewhere around 11.7 socks. Since you can't make 7/10 of a sock, your answer should be around 11 socks.

which choice could be the equation of a line parallel to the line represented by this equation 3x-2y=6 A) 2x-3y=6 B ) y=3/2x+4 C
ozzi
3x - 2y = 6
-2y = -3x + 6
y = 3/2x - 3.....the slope here is 3/2. A parallel line will have the same slope.

so ur answer is : y = 3/2x + 4...because the slope here is 3/2

Step-by-step explanation:

1 lbs for 5 pigs

The ratio is 1 lbs/ 5 pigs

Let x be the number of pigs

Take the ratio and multiply by the number of pigs, this has to be less than the amount of food in the stor
