Then finally Nebuchadnezzar II ascended to the Neo-Babylonian throne as emperor in 605 BC and made the empire stronger than it ever was.

Horses were used for transportation and travel, which enabled them to do things much quicker and easier, and also they were used in battles in a similar manner like the nomadic people form Central Asia.
