what part of the mental conditioning that occured during slavery do you think was the most difficult?
arsen [322]

Answer:

On July 22, in announcing the federal indictment of Charleston killer Dylann Roof, Attorney General Loretta Lynch commented that the expression of forgiveness offered by the victims’ families is “an incredible lesson and message for us all.”

Forgiveness and grace are, indeed, hallmarks of the Black Church.

Since slavery, the church has been a formidable force for the survival of blacks in an America still grappling with the residual effects of white supremacy.

This was eloquently illustrated in the aftermath of the Charleston church massacre. Americans rightly stood in awe of the bereaved families’ laudable demonstration of God’s grace in action.

How was the Continental Navy able to hold its own against Britain's Royal Navy?
Fed [463]

Answer: The American Revolutionary War saw a series battles involving naval forces of the British Royal Navy and the Continental Navy from 1775, and of the French Navy from 1778 onwards. While the British enjoyed more numerical victories these battles culminated in the surrender of the British Army force of Lieutenant-General Earl Charles Cornwallis, an event that led directly to the beginning of serious peace negotiations and the eventual end of the war. From the start of the hostilities, the British North American station under Vice-Admiral Samuel Graves blockaded the major colonial ports and carried raids against patriot communities. Colonial forces could do little to stop these developments due to British naval supremacy. In 1777, colonial privateers made raids into British waters capturing merchant ships, which they took into French and Spanish ports, although both were officially neutral.

there are two societies and u are supposed to choose to come society to settle in one is a centralized kingdom and another one i
Mariulka [41]
Answer:
Decentralized
Explanation:
If I were to settle in a decentralized state, then the power wouldn't be consolidated in a single entity. This means I am less likely to have to pay a "Royal Tax" and if I'm lucky since I can read and write and have a modern education I could become a page in the local nobleman's court or perhaps join a monastery and work there. It would be a simple life but I doubt it would bring any unwanted attention which would be bad since I could be a "Witch" or "Devil" or something and be burned at the stake.

Why did the continental join the war?
morpeh [17]

Answer:

The Continental System hurt English industries and helped spur the Luddite protest movement against unemployment in England. Although it stimulated manufacturing in some parts of France, the system damaged regions dependent on overseas commerce. Because the British had an overwhelming superiority at sea, though, enforcing the system proved disastrous for Napoleon. His efforts to halt evasions of his blockade stretched French forces too thin, and ultimately provoked his calamitous invasion of Russia in 1812.

England responded to the Continental System with Orders in Council that subjected France and all countries in alliance with Napoleon to a counterblockade. These orders were one of the main causes of the Anglo-American War of 1812.
