Joey went to the county fair last weekend. When he got there, he had to walk 1/2 of a mile from the car to the entrance. Then he

walked 11/16 of a mile to the carnival rides and 1/2 of a mile from the carnival rides to the farm animal show. Next, he walked 3/4 of a mile back to the car. How many miles did Joey walk in all?​

1/2 = 8/16
