The answer is 22.36 feet. If you use the Pythagorean Theorem, then this would be how you solve it (solve for X):
A² + B² = C²
10² + 20² = X²
100 + 400 = X²
500 = X²
22.36 = X

How many x-intercepts are in y=3x^2+5?
Pepsi [2]

Answer:

There are no x-intercepts.

Step-by-step explanation:

To find an x intercept we have to find where y = 0

So set the equation equal to zero

0 = 3x^{2} +5

-5 = 3x^{2}

x = \sqrt{\frac{-5}{3} }

Since the number under the radical is negative, we know there are no real solutions, and therefore there are no x-intercepts.

This is shown on the graph.

Set G is the set of positive integers divisible by 4 and Set F is the set of perfect
Natalka [10]

<em>Greetings from Brasil...</em>

G = {4; 8; 12; 16; 20; 24; 28; 32; 36; 40; 44; 48; 52; 56; 60; 64; 68; 72; 76; 80; 84; 88; 92; 96; 100; 104; ...}

F = {1; 4; 9; 16; 25; 36; 49; 64; 81; 100; ...}

So, according to the statement, it is desired:

G ∩ F - the intersection between the 2 sets, that is, which numbers are present simultaneously in the 2 sets....

Looking at the sets we conclude that

<h2>G ∩ F = {4; 16; 36; 64; 100}</h2><h2 /><h2 />

<em>OBS: note that in truth G are the multiples of 4</em>
