umka2103 [35]

Answer: D. Scientists’ understanding of Earth’s makeup and movements is still limited, but it is becoming more advanced through satellites.

Explanation:

This question is in relation to the article, WHAT IS EARTH by NASA in 2015.

One of the central ideas of the text is that Scientists are still studying the Earth as their knowledge of it is limited and they hope to learn more about it so that they may be able to predict changes to the Earth in future.

They study the Earth through the use of satellites that focus on the Earth from outta space, taking pictures of our planet's various parts and regions and observing it's various components such as the sky, the land and the oceans as well as observing its movements as well.

Why do you think teenagers who belong to gangs are more likely to commit more serious crimes than other teenagers?
tangare [24]

Answer:

Because they are in a gang ( they are gang members ) . In those gangs, they are exposed to the things ( crimes ) that occur there. They don't get guidance on what is wrong and what is right. They think that committing crimes is a normal thing because they are surrounded by people that do ( believe committing crime is a normal thing ). Whereas other teenagers know what is wrong and what is right ( committing crimes being wrong , they won't do it ) . They have people ( parents, family , friends etc ) that are there for them and support them. Teenagers in gangs might not have that . So being in a gang is ( sometimes) the only way for them to feel accepted, and they feel like committing crimes like the rest of the gang members is the only way that they can do that ( feel accepted).

Rationale (why did you choose that format; how will it help you present your focus; how will you add your own personal flair?):
luda_lava [24]
So, give a clear, concise and compelling outline of who you are and what you've achieved. Steer clear of personal details. Instead, focus on the skills and experience that you have that are relevant to the job. A good tactic is to discuss your present, your past, and your future.
