The statement which best explains the inconsistency in writing is - Plus, cell phones are great for taking pictures with friends.

Explanation:

The passage is about how important is the use of cell phones when it comes to school, and whether children should be allowed using the cellphones. Everything is properly explained in the paragraph, except one statement.

The line, ‘Plus, cell phones are great for taking pictures with friends’ is simply inconsistent and discordance. This type of statements can result in inappropriate behavior among the children. School in a place where students come to learn and educate themselves, not to click pictures.

A synonym is a. A word that has the same meaning as another c. A word that lacks creativity b. A word that has the opposite mean
solniwko [45]

Answer:

a. A word that has the same meaning as another

Explanation:

A synonym is a word that has the same meaning as another, like "to end" and "to finish".

These are very useful when you write a text and want to avoid repeating the same word over and over. Just have to be careful though, because synonyms have the same general meaning... but each word has a specific meaning, that's why it was created in the first place.

Option B, a word that has the opposite meaning as another, is an antonym, not a synonym.

Explain whether it is likely for another family to have three generations of its members play professional baseball.
Lena [83]
It is not likely for a family to have three generations of baseball because to pay baseball you must have skill and just because a family member did it does not mean you can. Different people have different talents.
