Explain the influence of the enlightenment education in the late colonial period
Snezhnost [94]

Answer: Enlightenment in the Colonial Period

Explanation: The ideas of the Enlightenment, which emphasized science and reason over faith and superstition, strongly influenced the American colonies in the eighteenth century. Overview The Enlightenment was an intellectual movement in the eighteenth century that emphasized reason and science. The Enlightenment, also known as the Age of Reason, was an intellectual and cultural movement in the eighteenth century that emphasized reason over superstition and science over blind faith. Using the power of the press, Enlightenment thinkers like John Locke, Isaac Newton, and Voltaire questioned accepted knowledge and spread new ideas about openness, investigation, and religious tolerance throughout Europe and the Americas. Many consider the Enlightenment a major turning point in Western civilization, an age of light replacing an age of darkness.

How did these events bring the world close to nuclear war? A. by threatening to dissolve the NATO B. by threatening to dissolve
Sergio [31]

This question is incomplete.

You forgot to include the series of events. Without those events, we do not have the proper references to answer the question.

However, trying to help you, we can comment on the following.

You are probably referring to the permanent conflicts and confrontations between the United States and the Soviet Union during the Cold War years. If that is the case, these events bring the world close to nuclear war "by creating a confrontation between the world's two superpowers."

Soviet leader Joseph Stalin kept control over occupied countries and instilled Communism. We are talking about East Germany, Romania, Albania, Hungary, Poland, and Czechoslovakia. The USSR supported the spread of Communism all over the world and the United States applied the policy of containment, trying to stop the spread of that political and economic ideology.

Both countries supported their respective sides in the Korean War and the Vietnam War. They also competed in the arms race and years later, in the space race.

These issues created too much tension and the world was on the brink of another war in the times of the Cuban missile crisis.

How are fireworks made, and where did they originate from? should fireworks be legal or illegal still? pls gimme ur thoughts on
ELEN [110]
Fireworks are made by first making the stars by mixing black powder with the chemicals needed to make a specific color and shape. (Ex. Copper makes blue) The explosion is made thanks to gunpowder. Fireworks were created sometime in 600-900 AD and legend has it that the first gunpowder was made by a Chinese alchemist and was poured into bamboo. We don’t really know where fireworks came from though. And I think they should be legal just have more regulations and the laws be consistent in every place cause I know in the US my state there isn’t really much regulation. There were someone setting them off by an elementary school in a neighborhood, and many people get very injured from fireworks especially on Independence Day here in the US since they aren’t always sober when setting off fireworks. I hope this helps!

Why did they call Abraham Lincoln a tyrant
VARVARA [1.3K]

Answer:

Abraham Lincoln was seen as a dictator because he did not lead the country from within the confinement of presidential power within the written constitution. He repeatedly disregarded the constitution and had ruled America instead of leading. Lincoln violated separation of powers and made himself a dictator, which is why many say that (and so it seems that) he did not really have presidency. This is why Abraham Lincoln was labeled as a tyrant, due to his dictating ways.
