Yes . A democratic government is a legitimate government, as it is elected by citizens and enjoys the confidence and trust of the citizens. People have the right to choose their rulers and they have control over their rulers. Citizens can participate in decision making. Overall, democracy is the best form of government, because it is morally the most justifiable, although democratic governments today can be improved. ... In theory, democracy is a system that places power in the hands of the citizens in order to ensure governing that is in favour of the people.
