Answer: What I learned about heart rate today is that it’s the speed of of your heartbeat that is measured by the number of contractions per minute. How I will use this information going forward is by checking my heart rate whenever I feel curious about how many time my heart beats. (Ex. check your pulse at your wrist which is located the thumb side of your wrist. When you feel your pulse count the number of beats in 15 seconds and multiply the number by four to calculate your beats per minute)

R - rest
I - ice
C - compress
E - elevate
