What type of pressure do kids usually get from parents growing up? (Extra points for Personal Experience).
adoni [48]

Answer:

Ok so I have a lot to talk about this from well MY parents, not only do parents set a mindset where they are above you and you need them for everything and without them you wouldn't be able to be successful, they apply stress about school and expectations and most parents never let their children's express themselves so the child will grow up with low left esteem and low confidence, when I was a kid my mom wouldn't allow me to dress how I wanted to dress or talk how I wanted to talk, she would always say "You must be proper and ladylike or else people will think you are a man, and men are filthy" I know it sounds silly but at that time I believed her, I believed every word she said and from then on I have been diagnosed with depression and have very low self-esteem. In short, parents create expectations that make young and old children stressed out.

Hope this helps! Took me a lot of time to write lol

How can children of alcoholics be affecte<br> d mentally, environmentally and spiritually?
dimaraw [331]

Answer:

Explanation:

The mental health trauma is so severe, says Psychology Today, that it is akin to what soldiers in combat suffer; there is chaos and inconsistency, even violence, in an alcoholic family. For children, there may be physical and/or sexual assault (including incest), which can scar them well into adulthood.

A person can get an electric shock when they walk across a room on a rug and touch a doorknob because electrons are transferred
notka56 [123]

Answer:

True

Explanation:

When you touch a doorknob (or something else made of metal), which has a positive charge with few electrons, the extra electrons want to jump from you to the knob. That tiny shock you feel is a result of the quick movement of these electrons.
