The Vietnam war was one of the first wars that the American public didn't support. Vietnam soldiers and veterans were demonized in their own country. This had a negative affect on our soldiers in Vietnam. Moral dropped, not that it was that high in the first place.
Vietnam was an awful experience for the soldiers in it. If a soldier entered a village, he could be attacked by anyone, even by a small child. And, in the jungles, there were mines and other types of lethal traps everywhere. Soldiers learned to walk in the footsteps of the guy in front of them so they didn't risk setting of a hidden explosive.
All of this contributed to an insane amount of PTSD.
Answer: b) Violence
Explanation:
Terrorists obviously don’t believe in non-violence, as the word terrorist means a person who uses unlawful violence, mainly against civilians, with political aims. This means that we can get rid of d)
While negotiation can be ruled out. Terrorists do not like negotiation: they are known for their violence: like hijacking a plane with weapons. They won’t stand back. Methods like propaganda is somewhat of a less frightening way to get what they want.
Propaganda is ruled out as well. Propaganda is using signs, posters, ads, etc. to spread a message. Propaganda can be anything and can be used by anybody. Terrorists normally do not use this method: it doesn’t give quick attention and can be easily overlooked.
This leaves violence as the best choice. When you think of terrorists, many think of events like the twin towers, or the Munich massacre. These are events in history that show terrorists as violent. They force their ways to get what they want, sometimes causing lots of injuries to citizens. This way, lots of attention is directed towards them and lots of fear is caused.
Dividing political power between a central authority and other units, like the states in the United States, is the main concept of "federalism," since this allows for states to exercise a certain amount of autonomy while still allowing the federal government to control the most important issues facing the nation.
The Declaration of Independence states the rights of all American citizens. It, well, declares independence. In the document, it states the three main natural rights, “Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.”
