How much gold did Coronado’s expedition discover?
Aleonysh [2.5K]

Answer:

None

Explanation:

Francisco Vazquez de Coronado went to look out for seven golden cities of Cibola after hearing the tale, which passed on among the Spaniards in Mexico. Coronado collected roughly about 400 soldiers and 1500 Indians, set out for an expedition to find the treasure, which assumed to have existed in the north of Mexico. On his way, Coronado explored Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, and became the first European to see Grand Canyon before giving up their quest to find gold after two years.

Why did American settlers in Texas have conflict with the Mexican government during the 1830s?
Katyanochek1 [597]
The best answer here is A, a huge conflict between the Mexican government and American settlers was slavery. Leading up to the Mexican American War
(1846-1848), the Mexican government started creating and enforcing more laws surrounding American settlers, as they were becoming very numerous. Even after the war, slavery was still an issue for settlers in Texas (which became independent after the war) and this contributed to the civil war. Hope this helps!

What events did the roman empire fall from
horrorfan [7]

Answer:

Invasions by Barbarian tribes

Explanation:

The most straightforward theory for Western Rome's collapse pins the fall on a string of military losses sustained against outside forces. Rome had tangled with Germanic tribes for centuries, but by the 300s “barbarian” groups like the Goths had encroached beyond the Empire's borders.

Hope this helped!

Which of the following words describes a candidate that comes off well in the media, particularly on television?
Diano4ka-milaya [45]

Let's look at each one. Cynical (A) can mean a lot of things, but none of them are nice. It can basically mean selfish, distrustful, or mocking.

Mediagenic (B) means someone who is favorably represented by the media. In other words, it's someone who knows how to look good in front of the cameras!

Cryptic (C) describes something vague and/or mysterious.

Rhetoric (D) isn't an adjective at all: it's actually persuasive writing or speaking.

The answer should be pretty obvious here. It's B: Mediagenic.
