Answer:

Life in the trenches were very rough the toilets were overflowed and the cold muddy, conditions. Another problem was the animals living in the trenches. the main animals rats, lice, frogs. The biggest problem was the rats because they ate the soldiers food and the actual soldier as they were sleeping. Disease were common in the trenches the main diseases were trench foot and trench fever. These disease were caused by lice. It was a nasty painful disease. although it was not life threatening it was debilitating and took 2-3 months to recover.
