Three factors to consider in communicating with diverse patient groups is to be able to provide better explanation of procedures and information to the patient, to be able to have a better understanding as the patient tries to communicate with you and to be able to be sure that the patient has fully understand the communication that has occurred between you and the client.

Having good communication with the patients or clients assist them in many ways. Good communication helps the clients or the patients to feel at ease, good communication assists the patients or the clients to feel in control, and good communication makes the clients or the patients feel valued.  

However, one has to consider three factors at the time of communicating with diverse patient groups, that is, one should respect the individuality of the people, one should be empathetic, and there is a need to examine one's own value system and connect with the diverse groups in some manner.
