Well since most of the population now 'lives' on social media, social security is now at a much higher risk of being hacked. Anyone who has an account on anything social media related can be hacked. Now in my opinion, Government Officials would probably do this to protect their citizens as extra help. And if it was truly neccesary and most rational during a decision, no doubt the government would spend the money on military needs. It just depends on the situation at hand.
Before European involvement, slavery was on a small scale. They worked on mines, tobacco plantations and sugar plantations. After European involvement, it became very common and slaves were used to do everything. All children that were born from the slaves were then enslaved themselves.
