The volume of a sphere is 905 1/7 cm³ ? Determine its diameterwill give brainliest

Mathematics

6 0

Volume of the sphere = 4/3πr³

905 1/7 = 4/3*22/7*r³

6336/7 = 4/3*22/7*r³

r³ = (6336*7*3)/(4*22*7)

r³ = 133056/616

r³ = 216

r = ∛216

r = 6 cm

So, diameter = 6*2 = 12 cm

Surface area of the sphere = 4πr²

= 4*22/7*6*6

= 3168/7

Surface area of the sphere = 452.57 sq cm

Hope it helps.

The volume of this cylinder is 6,782.4 cubic yards. What is the radius?
anygoal [31]

Answer:

radius for this cylinder is 12 yd

Step-by-step explanation:

\boxed{Volume -of -cylinder=\pi r^2h}

Here we will find radius, height given 15, π as 3.14

using the formula:

πr²h = 6,782.4

(3.14)(r²)(15) = 6,782.4

(r²)(47.1) = 6,782.4

r² = \frac{6,782.4}{47.1}

r² = 144

r = √144

r = 12

notsponge [240]

Answer:

The sample size is  n =419

Step-by-step explanation:

From the question we are told that

    The population proportion is  p = 0.45

     The  margin of error is  E = 0.04

Given that the confidence level is  90%

  Then the level of significance can be mathematically represented as

          \alpha  =  100 -90

          \alpha  =  10\%

         \alpha  = 0.10

Next we obtain the level of significance from the normal distribution table the value is

             Z_{\frac{\alpha }{2} } =  1.645

   Generally the sample size is mathematically represented as

        n  = [ \frac{Z_{\frac{\alpha }{2} }}{E} ]^2 *  p(1- p )

substituting values

         n  = [ \frac{1.645 }{0.04} ]^2 *  0.45(1- 0.45 )

        n  =419
