All three have mountain ranges or highlands—the Great Dividing Range in Australia; the North Island Volcanic Plateau and Southern Alps in New Zealand; and the New Guinea Highlands in Papua New Guinea.

The bacteria cell would probably die. This is because the mutation would cause a conformation change in critical proteins such as enzymes. Lysine is a polar amino acid while phenylalanine has aromatic residues hence hydrophobic. This will affect the folding of proteins hence affect their functions.
