Solution :

Difference between first 2 terms :

-2 - ( -5 ) = 3    1 term

3 - ( -2 ) = 5     2 term    

10 - 3 = 7         3 term

19 - 10 = 9       4 term

From the above observation we can say that difference is increasing in odd number .

So, the nth term will be :

$a_{n+1}= -5 + (2n+1)$  for n greater than equal to 0.
