If the prices are raised some kids won't be able to eat because they can not afford it. this will raise the rate of child deaths. Approximately 3.1 million children die to poor food and starvation.
Some people may not be able to eat the school foods but they can find something else or bring something from home. its not fair kids have to suffer for the benefit of few others. I have gone through this first hand. the lunch price in my school was raised do to an expanded menu because one kid in the entire school needed it. I had a hard time affording food. i have 9 siblings so it was hard for all of us to eat. we didnt have the money to bring food from home.
