I would say the correct answer is B. primitive man.
The point of the entire novel is that Buck is fighting his urges to go to the wilderness and succumb to his wild identity of a wolf. Thus, dreaming about the primitive man clearly portrays his struggle between his two identities, that of a domesticated dog and that of a wild wolf.

The answer is B. Buck often dreams of primitive man as he sleeps by the campfire.

EXPLANATION

Buck often dreams of primitive man as he sleeps by the campfire. The story of Buck came from a novel that is written by Jack London and it is titled The Call of The Wild. This novel’s setting is in Yukon, Canada. The time setting is from the 1890s Klondike Gold Rush. The Call of the Wild was published in the year of 1903. The main character of The Call of the Wild is a dog with a name Buck.

The story is focusing on Buck, from when he is stolen from his own home and ended up getting sold to be a service dog. He is then trained to be a sled dog in Alaska. Bucks ended up being a feral dog because of the environment that he lived in. Buck is forced to become a dominant dog so he can survive by his own. Buck ends up to go away from civilization and relies on his instinct. He then emerges as a leader in the wild.

Jake London has spent time for about a year in Yukon. He did this so he could do the best for the materials of his book. The story of Buck was first being serialized in summer 1903 through the Saturday Evening Post. The story was published into a book form after a month later. The book was popular and a success. This also gained a reputation for London. Buck’s story was then adapted into a film, and several cinematic adaptations about Buck was also created.

Answer:

C. The first significant project for Pei was the National Center for Atmospheric Research in Boulder, Colorado. From there, he designed the East Building of the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C.

D. He designed the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio, and the somber Holocaust Museum in Washington, D.C. In addition, he traveled to Qatar to design the Museum of Islamic Art and worked in Japan for the Miho Museum and China for the Suzhou Museum

Explanation:

All of the following options tell us about I.M. Pei's achievements. An important part of the original statement, though, is diverse in his talents. It means that Pei has created many different buildings. Statements C and D are the best proof of that. He has designed research centers, art galleries, halls of fame, museums. Statement A simply tells us about his importance, B about his personal life, and E about his awards.

Thus, the correct options are C and D.

Read this excerpt from the Cherokee creation story "How the World Was Made":

When all was water, the animals were above in Galûñ’lati, beyond the arch; but it was very crowded, and they wanted more room. They wondered what was below the water, and at last Beaver’s Grandchild, the little Water-beetle, offered to go and see if he could learn. He darted in every direction over the surface of the water, but could find no firm place to rest. Then he dived to the bottom and came up with some soft mud, which began to grow and spread on every side until it became the island that we call Earth. It was afterward fastened to the sky with four cords, but no one remembers who did this.

At first Earth was flat and very soft and wet. The animals were anxious to get down, and set out different birds to see if it was yet dry, but they found no place to alight and came back again to Galûñ’lati. At last it seemed to be time, and they sent out the Buzzard and told him to go and make ready for them…

When Earth was dry and the animals came down, it was still dark, so they got the sun and set it in a track to go every day across the island from east to west, just overhead…
