Hello there!
For questions like these, I always like to translate the figure in my head or on paper so I can get a visual of what is going on.
Take answer A, and translate the figure in your head 1 unit to the left, and then rotate it 180 degrees counterclockwise about the origin. This happens to be the correct answer so we don't have to investigate the others.
This means the answer is A.
Remember that when you move the figure one unit left, it becomes 1 unit away from the x-axis, so the figure must STAY that way during a rotation about the origin.
I really hope this helps!
Best wishes :)
Answer:
Im sure that the answer is c
Im not sure if this is right but.
Make the diameter by putting the line on points A and C. Then put the middle of the tool on point A and make the width to point C and draw a circle. Do the same for point B (other side of point A) without changing the width. Then plot the lines where the circles intersect and you have a hexagon :)
The picture cannot be dilated to fit the frame. This is because one side of the picture is already 6-inches. So, therefore you cannot dilate the picture to fit the frame.
