Write an equation for each line.

Mathematics

Answer:

Blue (p): x = -4

Red (l) : y = 4

Black (m): y = -2x + 4

Green (n): y = x - 1

Step-by-step explanation:

For the first two, red and blue, you just simply look at what axis they lie on, and what point! Since blue is on the x, its x = -4.

The remaining two lines, I always look for the y-intercept first! You should write that down, then use RISE/RUN to figure out the slope!

I hope this helps, and I'll be here if you need me!! Have a nice day :D

Mia had 5000 In the bank. She keeps the money in the bank for 4 years at 5% interest. How much interest did she earn?
viktelen [127]
Simple interest formula:
Interest = P*R*N

P = principle amount
R = interest rate (in decimal)
N = number of time periods (in years)

Interest = 5000*0.05*4 = $1000

Random samples of size 81 are taken from an infinite population whose mean and standard deviation are 200 and 18, respectively.
jeka57 [31]

Answer:

D 200 and 2

Step-by-step explanation:

standard error of the sampling distribution of sample mean is expressed using the formula;

Standard error of the mean = S/√n where;

S is the standard deviation

n is the sample size

Given

S = 18

n = 81

SEM = 18/√81

SEM = 18/9

SEM = 2

The mean of the distribution according to the question is 200.

Hence the mean and the standard error of the sampling distribution of sample mean are 200 and 2 respectively.

Explain what the trigonometric reciprocals are ?
Softa [21]

Flipping over the trigonometric functions of sine, cosine and tangent we have the following respectively

1/cscФ (sinФ), 1/secФ (cosФ) and 1/cotФ (tanФ). These are the identities for which they numerically equal when the numerator and denominator of these fractions are swapped.

Why is it most logical to let x represent Dianna’s current age?
jasenka [17]
Let's say Diana is "x" years old today.

in 3 years, she's going to be " x + 3 " years old.

33 years ago, she was " x - 33 " old.

how much is 4 times that anyway?  well 4(x-33), that's 4 times as 33 years ago her age.

now, we know in 3 years, x+3, she'll be "<span>4 times as old as she was 33 years ago", 4(x-33), therefore, those amounts are equal then,

</span>\bf \stackrel{\textit{3 years from now}}{x+3}~~=~~\stackrel{\textit{4 times as old as she was 33 years ago}}{4(x-33)}&#10;\\\\\\&#10;x+3=4x-132\implies 135=3x\implies \cfrac{135}{3}=x\implies 45=x
<span>
why is it most logical to use "x" for her age today?

well, because 3 years from now is just x + 3
and
33 years ago is x - 33, 4 times that is 4( x - 33 ).

works very well as a point of reference.</span>
