You always get a unit rate from dividing. You always have two ways to do it, and get two unit rates, but one of them is more helpful.

2000 meters/4 minutes = 500 meters per minute

4 minutes/2000 meters = 0.002 minute per meter

(By the way ... Franklin is "jogging" a 3:13.12 mile. The world record is 3:43.13 .)
