Read the passage and correct any grammar or punctuation errors you find. George Washington is famous for being the first preside

nt of the United States. But what many people dont realize is that he was originally the commander of the Continental Army, which fought against the British to achieve American independence. When Washington took leadership of the army, it was not in good shape. The American soldiers were unreliable, disorganized and untrained. Washington had his work cut out for him. It was his job to strengthen the army so it would be able to defeat the british Army. He works to train soldiers and get them supplies, but the Continental Army is still far inferior to the British Army, which was much larger, more organized, and better trained. Because the British army was so much stronger, the Continental Army only won three out of the nine most important battles that took place during the Revolutionary War. Once the United States had achieved independence, george Washington is elected as the first president in 1789. Although Washington expressed doubt about becoming the president, he was unanimously voted into office, meaning he receives every vote from the electoral college. Americans were thrilled to have their independence, and they welcomed George Washington into office with excitement.

Which element of the u.s government most reflects the constitutional principle of federalism
inysia [295]

The principle of Federalism is most reflected in the US Government & the Constitution's limits on the Federal Government's powers and the reservation of powers for the States. This is set forth clearly in the 10th amendment.

Federalism is evident throughout Government. An example of the US Department of Education. Education is a power reserved to the States and so the US Department of Education funds projects and ensures equity but the power to set curriculums is done by the States.
