ILL MARK BRAINIEST IF YOU CAN DO THIS PLEASE HELP ME!!! ITS DUE TOMORROW!
Eduardwww [97]

Answer: I dont fully remeber the story, but this is the best answer i can give

Explanation: Tradition means doing something over and over for a long time ussualy within family or culture. Tradition can be dangerous because lets say you had a tradition to maybe play russian roulette every year there is a risk of injury or death.  The setting of the lottery is in a small town where its sunny and has a good mood before the story starts. 2. The steps taken to insure the proper execution of the lottery is that everyone in the town has to gather and draw slips of paper. 3. What are the opinions of at least two townspeople regarding the lottery. Their opinions are that some people like as long as they are not the ones chosen. The mom in the story had won the lottery, and inturn had died from being stoned to death. I think they do this because of population control, or maybe they are sadistic

Evening By Victoria Mary Sackville-West When little lights in little ports come out, Quivering down through water with the stars
Alex73 [517]

Answer:

None of them

Explanation:

A The text describes not a part of a ship but the cosmological harmony of a seaport.

B The stars and little lights; clearly this is not a daytime scene.

C The poetic beauty of the text lies in the powerful energy the writer receives from the darkness that caresses the seaport and its observer.

D No it doesn´t, but it does imply the consolation and possible harmony with one´s existence that awaits us when growing old:

¨Old age... Weathered through storms, and gracious in retreat.¨

Which choice best describes the use of sound devices to reinforce meaning in lines 24–26 of “A Lecture upon the Shadow”?
AlladinOne [14]

Answer:

The sound device shows how helpless love is in relation to time. As time passes, love declines.

Explanation:

The poem talks about the changes that love goes through over the years and how the love of many is diminished and ended over time. Lines 24-26 report this with greater emphasis, through the use of rhymes that impose a musicality and a feeling that time is moving rhythmically. This shows the pressure of time on love, as it reinforces the idea that love can decline if it is not used soon.
