The Greeks lived on a peninsula, so their navy was really strong and they were able to trade in distant lands by using the sea which was far easier to transport goods than on land.

Greek's geography aided it in that its mountainous and somewhat inhospitable terrain forced the Greek people to send out colonies to places throughout the Mediterranean from Italy to the Black Sea and from France to Spain. This array of colonies allowed a vast amount of trade with Greece making it quite wealthy and spread the advanced Greek culture to many societies throughout the Mediterranean.

are there any redeeming qualities to elitism and any downsides to pluralism? are there any problems with allowing interest group
Crank

There is nothing redeeming about elitism. I do not see any downsides to pluralism.

"The only thing different about these two groups is that the elites are known for attending prestigious schools and they have to only worry about securing themselves financially so if money is involved they will do whatever it takes to make big bucks."

They do not care so much about the people voices unless they are benefiting from it somehow. There are some benefits to having elites rule because they can get things done way faster than it would take for a democratic government to process.

The correct answer is Anticipatory Socialization

Explanation: Anticipatory socialization is the creation of expectations by the newcomer prior to entering the organization. Sometimes it is essential to socialize a person so that when joining any institution, they can understand in advance a little of what they will find there. Someone completely ignorant might not even know how to position himself; especially when the organization is dependent on specific behavior.
