How does the pace and tempo change in the stanza "I know the action in the street is excitin" in Hamilton?
lora16 [44]

Answer:

The song gets more intense and louder (crashendo which is a music term for getting louder) because Hamilton is referring to how he sees the bigger picture. He realizes that "the action in the street is exciting, but Jesus between all the bleeding and fighting I've been reading in righting. We need to handle our financile situation. Are we a nation of states? What's the state of our nation". He understands that there is more to the revolution than simply fighting.

I hope this helps!

Btw I LOVE Hamilton!

OF MICE AN MEN.
zysi [14]
<span>She screams.

"When Lennie explains that he likes to pet soft things, Curley's wife reveals that she too likes to feel silk and velvet, and she invites him to feel her hair, which is very soft. He does, but his big, clumsy fingers start to mess it up, and she angrily tells him to let go. As she tries to get her hair away from Lennie, he becomes scared and holds on more tightly. When she begins to scream, Lennie covers her mouth with his hand. A struggle ensues — Lennie panicking and Curley's wife's eyes "wild with terror" — until her body flops "like a fish" and then she is still."</span>
