Boys have an avantage to go to school if you were greece you would be counted for not a person boys and girls cant go to the same school they have to be seprated and girls have to stay at home and learn to clean and cook. Boys have to learn how to farm and hunt. it was hard for kids in the olden days you wernt treated the way you need to be or with the right people they sent kids at age seven to millatary school. you also get beaten if you are bad in school five days before you were born parents were allowed to get rid of you if you parents decied
