Answer:

No, because once a repeated offender has committed a crime multiple times there's an extremely high of a chance that they'd do it again, which makes it way too difficult to trust a repeated offender.

Identify this statement as a fragment, a run-on, or a complete sentence: “Luke wrote a story, it was a comedy.”
velikii [3]

We can actually deduce here that the sentence, "Luke wrote a story, it was a comedy" is a run-on sentence.

What is a run-on sentence?

A run-on sentence refers to the sentence that has independent clauses which joined improperly. In other words, the use of independent clauses in the sentence didn't fit in.

We see here that "Luke wrote a story" and "It was a comedy" are two independent clauses. But we discover that they are not placed properly. Thus, it's a run-on sentence.

How is the adjective and adverb used here? 'She walked slowly to it; to the elongated, black, metal gate.'
baherus [9]

Answer: The adverb slowly describes the verb walked. It basically says HOW the person walks (like did they walk fast, slow, at an average pace, etc., and in this case, it says that they walked in a slow manner).

Edit: so I’m assuming effect is like the mood of the story created, and I’d say that it creates a somber, suspenseful feeling, opposed to if she was walking quickly, which would create a rushed mood.
