I'm Nobody! Who are you? How does the speaker use diction and figurative language to portray what it’s like to be a “Somebody” a
solong [7]

I'm Nobody! Who are you?

‘I'm Nobody! Who are you?’ is a very short poem written by Emily Dickinson which contains of two short stanza. In the poem se can see that Emily have made use of dashes. For example: ‘Are you – Nobody – too?’ By this she’s trying to break up the dialogue thus leading to emphasis.

In the poem Emily states that it’s good to be ‘Nobody’ rather than ‘Somebody.’ She says that when you’re Somebody, you’re always recognized by public and it’s hard to find a companionship. Anonymity on the other hand have its own advantage.

The poem uses a rough rhyme scheme ‘abcb’ in her poem. She have made use of Simile where she compares somebody with a frog, because he(frog) constantly makes a sound to remind of his self importance. ‘How dreary – to be – Somebody!

How public – like a Frog.’

Who wants to write a 400 letter speech for me the speech is supposed to be a Eulogy. (20 points)
sweet-ann [11.9K]

Answer:

Eulogy to the mother nature poem means a tribute to the natural mother who is dying day by day. In my childhood days, I played with my natural mother a lot, that is in the grass fields, with trees, with flowers, with rivers etc.,

But today humans are destroying the natural mother for their selfishness. They are not properly maintaining her. They are destroying. We are not only destroying nature, but we are also destroying all the livings things (animals, birds and especially humans) which depend on nature mother.

The world is not only meant for humans. It is meant for all living things in the world. If we destroy our mother nature continuously, one day in her turn she will destroy us. So, care her a lot by planting many trees and then only she will take care of us.
