The question is incomplete. The complete question is :

A sign in front of a roller coaster says ''you must be 40 inches tall to ride". What percentage of this height is A). 34 inches and B). 54 inches

Solution :

It is given that " You must be 40 inches tall to ride."

The formula used will be :

%  $=\frac{V}{T} \times 100$

Where, V is the value of the percentage to be calculated

            T is the value out of which the percentage of V is to be calculated.

A). What percentage of 40 inches is 34 inches

Where, V is 34 inches and T is 40 inches.

Therefore, the percentage of 34 inches in 40 inches will be

$\frac{34}{40} \times 100$

= 85 %

B). What percentage of 40 inches is 54 inches

Where, V is 54 inches and T is 40 inches.

Therefore, the percentage of 54 inches in 40 inches will be

$\frac{54}{40} \times 100$

= 135 %

Which of the following is a point slope equation of a line that passed through the points (10,5) and (4-7)
levacccp [35]

Answer:

<h2>y - 5 = 2(x - 10)</h2>

Step-by-step explanation:

The point-slope form of an equation of a line:

y-y_1=m(x-x_1)

m - slope

(x₁, y₁) - point

The formula of a slope:

m=\dfrac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}

We have the points (10, 5) and (4, -7). Substitute:

m=\dfrac{-7-5}{4-10}=\dfrac{-12}{-6}=2

y-5=2(x-10)
