Unfortunately, you forgot to attach the article. Without the article, we do not what is its content. Only you know it. You neither mention the name of the author.

However, trying to help you, we can comment on the following.

The correct answer is C) To introduce the reader to a famous American

If the author begins this article with a story of George Washington Carver was because he introduced the reader to a famous American.

George Washington Carver (1864-1943) was an African American inventor and researcher who was a professor of the Tuskegee Institute in Alabama. He was the Director of the Agriculture School in the Institute in 1896 after Booker T. Washing had hired him. He did plenty of research on the use of peanuts to produce many products.

What Queen of England is responsible for burning Protestants?
Reil [10]

Answer:

Mary I of England

Explanation: What Inspired Queen 'Bloody' Mary's Gruesome Nickname? She did burn hundreds of Protestants at the stake, but also history, as they say, is written by the victors. She was the first-ever Queen of England to rule in her own right, but to her critics, Mary I of England has long been known only as “Bloody Mary.”

Explain 'Domino Theory' and how it relates to the Vietnam War. Are we using the same path and techniques with The War on Terror?
aleksandr82 [10.1K]

Domino Theory is the theory that suggest that once Vietnam becomes communist, that the countries such as Cambodia, Laos, Indonesia, or even India may also fall under the communist regime.

We indeed are using the same techniques on the war against terrorism, seeing as how Afghanistan was once run by a terrorist government/a government whom supported terrorism, we feared that there was a change that Pakistan, or Iran, or Iraq would also fall under these Taliban governments.
