Therefore, the money in the bank won’t earn you money (unless you save money and you earn a little from the interest rates) but stock and bonds most of the times can make more money than the amount first put in. But then stocks and bonds are higher risk compared to just letting money sit in a bank and letting the interest rate help it grow.
