Look at the following commentary on "Cupid and Psyche" from Bulfinch's Mythology. The fable of Cupid and Psyche is usually consi

dered allegorical. The Greek name for a butterfly is Psyche, and the same word means the soul. There is no illustration of the immortality of the soul so striking and beautiful as the butterfly, bursting on brilliant wings from the tomb in which it has lain, after a dull, groveling caterpillar existence, to flutter in the blaze of day and feed on the most fragrant and delicate productions of the spring. Psyche, then, is the human soul, which is purified by sufferings and misfortunes, and is thus prepared for the enjoyment of true and pure happiness. In your journal, reflect on Bulfinch's analysis of the story's theme. Do you agree or disagree with his analysis? Why or why not? What new questions does this analysis of "Cupid and Psyche" bring to mind? Can you answer them? If not, does it matter? Explain.

Answer:

Well slightly you could say that it being called "allegorical" would go with the theme, the theme may be jealousy which could be the reason Venus gave all the nearly impossible (and inevitable) tasks to do, although Venus was possibly jealous because of Cupid liking Psyche and Psyche being mortal.

The statement fits with the theme of the story, because it wasn't made clear or stated that Venus was jealous, it used her actions to foreshadow (is that the right word for it?) the theme. Similar to how Psyche means soul and butterfly and how her soul is made immortal, like a transition for a caterpillar to a butterfly.

(for the sake of you not having it given back, edit it to look like you wrote it pls. this was my actual answer for this question when i got it)

algol [13]

You must use capital letters in the following instances, particularly in formal writing: 1) In the names of people, places, days and months (not seasons), languages, religions, and so on (also known as "proper nouns"); 2) At the beginning of a sentence; 3) In titles of books, films, organizations, and special days and holidays; 4) In abbreviations or acronyms; 5) In titles that come before names; 6) And in compass points when they indicate regions, among other instances.

Therefore, the following words in your examples should be capitalized:

11. In the West, the weather is more moderate year round than it is in the Midwest, but Northern California is cooler and more humid than Southern California.

12. Alan Anderson, Treasurer of the Roosevelt School PTA, endorsed the purchase of a computer for the school library, but PTA President Sue Jenkins has reservations about making such a purchase now.

13. Our family has its spring reunion on Memorial Day Weekend each year.

natima [27]
You would C., begin the research process a second time, because DEFINITELY in a research paper/topic you need the MOST information, facts, and details about your topic to really inform as much as possible to your readers about your topic! If it's a lil relevant and too general to give specific support, that shows you need to rewrite your paper, as you may get scored poorly as it does not sufficiently answer the prompt.
I hope I helped! ;-;
