Answer:

Mr. Eyre

Georgiana

Mrs. Reed

John

Explanation:

The situation above happened when <em>"Bessie"</em> visited <em>Jane </em>with her son<em>, Bobby.</em> Bessie used to be her<em> nursemaid</em> when she was a child and both of them have a very good relationship. Upon her visit, she mentioned about having been married to <em>Robert Leavan</em> who is a coachman. While they were chatting near the fireplace, Bessie told Jane about <em>Georgiana </em>falling in love with a young lord. She also told her about <em>John Reed </em>who was now in college but wasn't doing so well and Bessie described him as tall with thick lips. She also added about <em>Mrs. Reed</em> who was looking stout. Bessie also told her that<em> Mr. Eyre </em>was looking for her<em> 7 years ago</em>. However, Jane was at school at that time and Mr. Eyre was in a hurry to go to London.

“Scary Tales” Turn &amp; Talk Questions Lines 13–18: What words describe the style of this essay? Which words or phrases in thes
Juli2301 [7.4K]

Answer and Explanation:

1. The words that describe the style of this essay are: descriptive and narrative. Since the author narrates the memories he has with his grandfather and grandmother, as well as describing how his grandfather loved scary tales and how it taught him to love that kind of story too.

2. Some words and phrases that help to establish this style are: "used", "I would hear", "Grama would say". This is because the words written in the past tense reinforce the idea of narrating memories, while the description of what the grandmother would do, reform the meaning of descriptive text.

4. The use of the word "rug" shows how memories are influenced by curious and intriguing things, because it is this word that makes the author remember that particular moment.
