2. Some words and phrases that help to establish this style are: "used", "I would hear", "Grama would say". This is because the words written in the past tense reinforce the idea of narrating memories, while the description of what the grandmother would do, reform the meaning of descriptive text.

4. The use of the word "rug" shows how memories are influenced by curious and intriguing things, because it is this word that makes the author remember that particular moment.
