A political party is an organization with people who have common political principles and ideas. These principles are called ideology. It is a form of representation of political power that is guided by the political and social values of a group. In addition to representing a form of political thinking, parties are formed to ensure that the system of representative democracy is respected. Representative democracy is the form of political exercise in which citizens vote for politicians who will be their representatives. The fact that the major parties cooperate to discourage minor parties and yet compete vigorously against each other during elections means that they believe they can represent everyone. At the same time, the reality says that is not true.
