Assuming the time on the clock was 10:45 am, if the family took 2 hours and 15 minutes to get to the camp ground, simply subtract this from 10:45 to find out what time they arrived.

Subtract the 2 hours from 10am:

= 10 - 2

= 8am

Subtract the 15 minutes from 45:

= 45 - 15

= 30

Put that together:

= 8:30 am
