The Congress of Vienna brought together the European Great Powers together immediately following Napoleon and France's defeat in 1914. The goal of the Congress was to restore order to the European Continent. The leaders of Britain, France, Russia, and Austria sought to do this through re-establishing the balance of power in Europe to prevent future conflict.
