Describe under what conditions you might expect your cells to undergo anaerobic respiration. Be specific as to why these conditi
tigry1 [53]

Answer:

Explanation:

Cells start undergoing anaerobic respiration when energy requirement is high and there is not sufficient availability of oxygen to produce required energy .

For example , when we we run fast , energy requirement by muscle cell is high but available oxygen level is not sufficient so cells start anaerobic respiration which produces lactic acid and this product creates tire-ness.

For normal respiration , oxygen is required . If there is lack of oxygen , aerobic respiration is not possible .

In yeast cells , alcohol is produced by anaerobic respiration. Alcohol is not harmful . In muscle cells , lactic acid is produced which is harmful .

How much carbon is stored in rocks
brilliants [131]

Answer:

Most of Earth's carbon—about 65,500 billion metric tons—is stored in rocks. The rest is in the ocean, atmosphere, plants, soil, and fossil fuels. Carbon flows between each reservoir in an exchange called the carbon cycle, which has slow and fast components.

What happens to atoms when food is being digested
lara31 [8.8K]
While plants can produce their own energy using the process of photosynthesis, animals (and other organisms that can’t do photosynthesis) must eat to get energy from food molecules. Just like energy can be stored in the chemical bond between the second and third phosphate of an ATP molecule, energy can also be stored in the chemical bonds that make up food molecules. Most of the energy that we use comes from molecules of glucose, a simple sugar.

What type of organism harvests energy to build organic molecules that support animals, fungi, and all the other levels of a food
Bess [88]

Primary producer type of organism harvests energy to build organic molecules that support animals, fungi, and all the other levels of a food web.

What is primary producer?

 • The only organisms that can harvest energy from sunlight or chemicals and use it to create food are plants, some algae, and specific bacteria.
 • With some plants releasing seeds that only germinate after a fierce fire, the chaparral vegetation is predominately made up of shrubs and is adapted to recurrent fires.
 • Autotrophs include algae, plants, certain bacteria, and fungi. Autotrophs are the food chain's producers because they make their own energy and nutrients.
 • Like the majority of autotrophs, kelp produces energy through a process known as photosynthesis.
 • All fungi are heterotrophic, which means they draw their energy from other living things.
