SOLUTION:

Let the deliveries done by first service be x

Let the deliveries done by second service be y

As, one service deliver 3 \text{ times} the other

x=3y

Total deliveries done by both serivces  =2400

 x+y=2400

putting value of x from above

3y+y=2400

4y=2400

y=600

as x=3y

x=3\times600=1800

Therefore deliveries done by both services are 600 and 1800 respectively
