Mariah is completing a language arts review sheet she estimates that it takes her one minute to complete each multiple-choice qu
WARRIOR [948]

Answer:

The answer is below

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the time taken to answer each multiple choice question as one minute, the time taken to x multiple choice question = 1 minute/question × x questions = x minutes

Given the time taken to answer each essay question as six minute, the time taken to y essay question = 6 minute/question × y questions = 6y minutes

Therefore the total time taken to complete X multiple choice question and y essay questions = the time taken to x multiple choice question + the time taken to y essay question = x + 6y

An=−5n+90 i dont know it
olga2289 [7]
I am guessing your problem should read...

A)  n = -5n + 90    (isolate the variables by adding 5n to each side)
   +5n  +5n
   6n = 90        (since we don't want to know what 6n's are worth, divide by 6)
6n/6 = 90/6
   n = 15

Please help I have 30 mins
Vladimir79 [104]

Answer:  0.6 in 10 % ; 0.4 in 15 %

Step-by-step explanation:

1. (x*10%) + (y*15%)/ x+y=12%

2. x+y = 1  x= 1-y

(0.1x + 0.15y/ x+y= 12/100) * 100

(10x + 15y/x+y = 12)*(x+y)

10x+15y= 12x + 12y

-2x=-3y

2x = 3y   2(1 - y)= 3y

2-2y=3y   2= 5y

y= 0.4

x= 0.6
